DataSpec, LLC is owned and operated by Ann Carrier and Tina Roff. We are proud to be an all-American owned and operated company.

Our premier product, VetraSpec, was designed with the veterans advocate in mind.  Tina is a County Veterans Counselor with a through knowledge of the VA claims process.  Ann is a web and database developer, who specializes in internet security and program design. In addition to their experience as it relates to the VetraSpec software application, Tina and Ann both have experience in the business world, assisting their parents in running a medium-sized factory for more than 10 years.

The two sisters have come together with a common goal: design, develop and support a program that will meet the needs of the veterans advocate, now and in the future. 

Tina has maintained VA accreditation through the National Association of County Veterans Service Officers (NACVSO) and Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) since November 21, 2001.  She is TRIP trained and is currently enrolled in the five year program for NACVSO to achieve the title of Certified Veterans Advocate. In 2004, Tina was awarded the Most Outstanding County Counselor by the VFW Michigan State Service Office.  She has been employed as a County Veterans Counselor in Michigan and currently holds the title of Director in her county Department of Veteran Affairs office.  Since the beginning of her employment, the VA Expenditures for her county have almost doubled.

Ann has a Bachelor’s degree in Web Development and an Associate degree in Computer Information Systems, along with more than 15 years experience in the field. She is an adjunct college instructor, teaching web development and internet security along with workshops and seminars for small businesses. Ann has operated a small business since 1996. She has also worked as a systems administrator at a financial institution and as a web developer at a community college.
